Walking breaks in West Wales
Walk in Wales and imbibe pure mountain and coastal air. The Mill is superbly placed for the walker to enjoy wonderful scenery available in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We will furnish you with detailed walks and a little potted history.
The Old Drovers road which runs past us and down to the river climbs up to the Black Mountain where in the distance and dramatically perched on its 300' Limestone Crag sits Carreg Cennen Castle, surely on of the most romantic and scenic Castles in Wales and just 3 miles from The Mill.
Also close to The Mill at Glynhir are the glorious South Wales Coastlines of Gower Peninsula, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
Llyn y fan fach Walk
A short drive of just 30 minutes will bring you to the start of the most beautiful and dramatic walk you will ever make. the 3 mile walk will take you to the lake famous for the lore story 'The Lady of Lake'.
However, should you wish to climb further up to the summit of the 'Black Mountain' you will be rewarded with a stunning panorama of the Lake and the Brecon Beacons National Park.
